When walking through the West End of London and you see a familiar face walking towards you and you have five yards to place the face, you instinctively nod, hello, in a nonchalant manner and rack your brains for who the hell it is. Then you realise it's a TV celebrity who has no idea who you are and he's certainly no mate of yours.
